D-Town Boy Toy wants to host the next BAM in Beantown. She has lobbied hard, shown sincere commitment, and even shared some of her mystery ideas with me. BAM is near & dear to my heart, so I don't say this lightly:
It's official: Boy Toy has won the bid for hosting Bustamunga 2008 in Boston!
Here are the particulars:
*$200/person [any less than that makes things too stressful & the budget too tight]
*The exact Saturday in October 2008 will be determined this Fall.
*When the date is set, the party will be 'on' as soon as we get 30 people who send $200 checks.
*Since I'm still wiped out from Sexy In Detroit, I'm leaving this in Boy Toy's hands [I'm helping as a consultant].

You guys are sad. It's 2007. Technology allows us to work on things from a distance. You know. Look up phone numbers, websites, research potential stop ideas. Then, there's this thing called email and another thing called a telephone. If someone is familiar with the city in question, like how Boy Toy has lived in Boston for decades, it's even easier to handle from a distance. And, believe it or not, there's a flying contraption that can bring her from London to Boston for the party! She might even get vacation time from work so she can stay a few days longer... any more questions, smarty pants'?

Yeah, I have another question. Why does "that author" keep removing his entries?
I went to read the blog and so many of the reply entries have been deleted. Is Bushy doing this in the name of "National Security" or is something less sinister at play?
i deleted one of my posts due a spelling mistake fyi.
anyway- i will definitely contribute coin within the 2007 calendar year, but at the moment i have spent too much this month on vacations and the like.
i did appreciate the explanation with regard to email, that thing you referred to which would transport boy toy from london to boston (sounds fascinating). so thank you ms. queen you were thorough and impressive per usual.
